Zip, Repayments
Dashboard
Introducing a dynamic dashboard designed to give Zip customers complete visibility into their repayments. This feature offers a clear, concise overview of both the total amount due on their account and a weekly breakdown of upcoming payments, helping users stay ahead of their financial commitments.

Easy repayments
Customers can now view all their due installments in one place and bundle them into a single payment, eliminating the need for multiple one-by-one transactions. This streamlined approach simplifies repayment management and saves time.

Overview
Our goal was to create a more intuitive, consolidated interface that simplifies these tasks, reduces cognitive load, and improves repayment outcomes. We reimagined key areas, including the repayment dashboard, order details page, and payment flow, to support essential user needs such as tracking due dates, previewing and bundling installments for payment, and managing orders with greater flexibility.

Order details page
The redesigned order details page gives users a clear view of their repayment progress, upcoming due dates, and the ability to make payments—all in one place. Visual indicators make it easy to track paid and unpaid installments at a glance.
Research
To ensure the redesigned repayments experience met user needs, we conducted 5 usability tests using UserTesting.com. Participants were given specific tasks that reflected key jobs to be done, such as paying installments and managing orders. These tasks helped us evaluate how effectively users could navigate the new architecture, complete payments, and manage their orders without friction.
We tested different approaches to the page layout, allowing us to identify the most intuitive structure and interactions. Insights from these sessions directly informed design decisions, improving both usability and overall user satisfaction.
